Green option - in the spirit of sustainability
In the interests of environmental protection and sustainability in the hotel, we can change the bed linen on request, please let the hotel reception know your request by 5.00 pm the day before. This procedure enables us to save resources such as water and energy in the long term.
We will also change your towels and hand/shower towels on request; towels on the floor will be changed.
If you choose not to have your room cleaned, you will receive a voucher for 5.00 euros per day at the hotel reception, which you can redeem for food or drink services at the hotel. Please make this request at the hotel reception by 10.00 pm the day before.

Our automatic shoe polisher can be found on the ground floor opposite to the elevator exit.

Bank

Here in Munzingen there is one bank with an ATM machine. Follow the main street for 100 me-ters and you will find a Volksbank. Furthermore, it is possible to withdraw money at the check-stand of the nearby REWE supermarket (provided a minimum purchase of EUR 20.00 at the su-permarket).

Bar service in our restaurant “Vivothek” daily from 5 pm to 1 am

Bathrobes

There are a bathrobe, slippers a pool and a sauna towel ready for you in your room.

For an additional cushion, a blanket or a towel, please contact our reception.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served as a rich breakfast buffet. Breakfast times are as follows:
Monday until Friday from 6.30 a.m. until 10.30 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 7.00 a.m. until 11.00 a.m.

Room service breakfast is available at a surcharge of EUR 5.00 per person and morning. The breakfast ordering form is enclosed. Kindly return the filled out form to our reception at the prior day.
Non-overnight guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet at a rate of EUR 29.00 per person.

Brunch

In the months of January to May and September to December we offer a rich brunch buffet from 11:00 am. The surcharge for our hotel guests is EUR 44.00 per person. The regular price for guests who are not staying at our hotel is EUR 59.00 per person.
The cost for themed and public holiday brunches is EUR 65.00 per person and the surcharge for hotel guests is EUR 50.00 per person.

Bus – connections and stops

For advice regarding the bus schedules kindly contact our reception. The bus stop “Apotheke” (German for pharmacy) is right in front of the local pharmacy. You can find it by leaving the hotel through the inner yard and by following the main street for about 100 meters into direction to Freiburg. All local bus stops can be found on the enclosed map, marked with an “H” in a circle (H for Haltestelle, German for bus stop).

Children

Children are very welcome in our hotel. We take your children's dietary requirements into consideration in our restaurants.
Baby cots, extra beds and sofa beds can be booked subject to availability. Prices depend on the age of the child.

Church

The catholic church Saint Stephan next to the hotel is run by the local ministry. Further catholic churches can be found in the villages around Munzingen, e.g. in Opfingen and Waltershofen.
On top of the Tuniberg is the catholic Saint Erentrudis chapel. The view from the chapel is worth the walk up the hill. The exact position of the chapel is mark no. The next Lutheran church is to be found 2 kilometers away in Tiengen.

Cigars can be bought and enjoyed at our smokers‘ lounge. Its entrance is in the hotel lobby opposite to our reception desk.

Our overnight guests receive a 20 percent reduction on the current 18-hole green fee at the following golfing sites: Golf Club Tuniberg (Munzingen), Breisgau (Herbolzheim) and Alsace Links (Rouffach).

Kindly take notice that our laundry and ironing service is only provided for everyday clothing.
We do not offer dry cleaning as well as the cleaning of special clothingd, e.g. gala ball gowns.

Upon request, irons and ironing boards can be brought to your room. Please call the recep-tion. Furthermore, we offer an ironing- and laundry service.

Lost and found

Lost and found items are collected and stored by our reception. In case you have lost some-thing, kindly contact our reception.

Mail

The local post office can be found in 300 meters walking distance from the hotel. You may cross the hotel’s inner yard and walk along the main street into direction of Freiburg. The post office is on the right-hand side of the street.
Stamps and envelopes can be purchased at the reception. You can also hand off parcels. Your mailings will be shipped according to your requests.

Munzingen

Our hotel is located in Munzingen. Munzingen is situated at the south east tip of the Tuniberg.
The village’s landmark be seen from far is the Saint Erentrudis chapel. Formerly independent, Munzingen was suburbanized to the city of Freiburg in 1973. Today it is Freiburg’s southernest district. Munzingen has approx. 2‘800 inhabitants and it is known for its wine yards and aspar-agus fields, which surround the village.

Newspapers

You can find daily newspapers at the breakfast restaurant and at our restaurant Limoncello.
Furthermore you can purchase different newspapers at our local supermarket REWE.

Opening times

Our hotel is open all year. Our reception is staffed 24/7. Due to security reasons the hotel en-trances will be locked from midnight on. Our night porter will open the door for you at any time. Please ring the door bell or call him under +49 (0)7664 407 421.

Parking

Directly at the hotel there are several parking possibilities, which can be uses free of charge. The hotel parking garage is also free of charge, but offers only a limited amount of parking space so if you want to make a reservation, it can be booked for ten euros per night.
Our garage can be entered with your room key.

Pets

The surcharge per pet and night is EUR 15.00. Kindly be advised, that damages caused by pets as well as extra cleaning expenditure will be charged additionally. Charges depend on the expenditure. Pets are welcome on the restaurant terraces and in the restaurants “Regional”, “Cross-Over” and “Vivothek”.

Due to the open buffets pets are neither allowed in the breakfast restaurant nor at the Sunday brunch. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Our reception is staffed 24/7 and can be reached via your room telephone by dialing the „421“.

Room key

Room keys can be deposited at the reception. At the reception you can get a second room key, if necessary. Please be aware that we charge a deposit for the key on the room.

Room service

You can order food and drinks from the currently opened restaurants‘ menus. The room ser-vice surcharge is EUR 5.00 per person and ordering. You can view the menus on our hotel website: www.schlossreinach.de/kulinarik/.

A REWE supermarket is o be found 2 minutes walking distance away from the hotel. It is open Monday to Saturday from 8.00 am until 10.00 pm.
Further shopping possibilities can be found in Freiburg, Bad Krozingen, Breisach, Colmar and Bale.

Smokers and non-smokers

The entrance to our smokers‘ lounge is in the hotel lobby opposite to the reception desk. For a good smoke you can retreat to the lounge. Our service will gladly provide you with beverages.

SPA

Our Wellness-/SPA-Area is named Fitness- and Vitaloase. The indoor area and its entrance is in the basement. It includes several saunas (Finnish Sauna, steam bath, herbal sauna, infrared sauna, salt sole and a fitness room). You will find a bathrobe and slippers on your hotelroom.

The fitness room is to be found next to the sauna area and offers state of the art training equipment, a treadmill, a cross trainer and an ergometer.

For the reservation of cosmetic treatments and of massage therapies kindly contact the hotel reception or the reception desk at the wellness area.

All rooms are equipped with a sewing kit. In case you need further sewing equipment, kindly ask our reception.

Swimming pool

Our pool is sized 25x4 meters and offers 2 swimming lanes. It is heated and can be therefore used all year. The pool with the its outdoor area can be accessed via the Fitness- & Vitaloase, the garden lounge and via all ground floor hotel rooms with terrace.

Taxi

Taxis can be ordered via our reception. Kindly be advised, that taxis regularly need at least quarter of an hour to reach the hotel.

The region Kaiserstuhl-Tuniberg is climatically and geologically ideal for winegrowing. It is the sunniest and hottest area of Germany. Munzingen has an ancient winegrowing tradition, which can be traced back to the Roman Empire. The Tuniberg hillsides covered with vines raise next to our village.
Directly here in Munzingen you find eight wine-growing estates and the winemakers’ club.
