The proximity to the A5 motorway makes arriving by car very convenient.
By train
If you are arriving by train, you can take express bus 37 from Freiburg main station to Munzingen on weekdays.
Alternatively, take tram line 3 to the “Munzinger Straße” stop and change to bus line 34.
On weekends, take tram line 1 to the “Paduaallee” stop and change to bus line 32. All bus lines stop at “Munzingen Apotheke,” which is within sight of the hotel.
By plane
Freiburg can be reached from several major national and international airports.
In addition to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (AirportBus), fast ICE train connections are available from Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Zurich airports.

Our 25-meter outdoor pool is heated year-round and offers plenty of space for swimming laps or relaxing on a sun lounger. In the evening, the pool is especially inviting thanks to its ambient lighting.
You may also book a room with direct terrace access to the pool.
The pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

SAUNA
Our Vitaloase features five saunas (herbal sauna 70°C, infrared sauna 50°C, Finnish sauna 85°C, steam bath 60°C, textile sauna 65°C) and a salt room, available as follows:

Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Please note that there is a textile-free area in the Vitaloase that is not accessible to children.
In the textile area, there is a 65°C sauna which may also be used with children.

In our Vitaloase, we offer a variety of cosmetic treatments and massages for an additional fee. These can be booked when reserving your stay, at reception, or directly at the Vitaloase.

Our hotel has seven meeting rooms ranging in size from approx. 30 m² to 280 m². Here you will find ample space and options for your conference.

In addition to the rooms and appropriate technical equipment, we also offer conference packages. We also have sufficient rooms available to accommodate all participants.

We therefore recommend detailed coordination with our event team in advance.
We offer various conference packages. Depending on the duration, these include 1–2 snack breaks, lunch, drinks, as well as room rental and technical equipment.
All packages can be supplemented with additional snacks such as croissants, pretzel sticks, bagels, or other small items. For longer events, dinner can also be booked in advance in our restaurants.
If you would like to complement your conference with a supporting program, our events team will be happy to provide suggestions.
Please note that we require your seating plan at least 10 days before the start of the event. If this is not provided, the rooms will be set up in a standard configuration.
If the agreed seating arrangement is changed on the day of the event, setup changes will be charged at €49.00 per hour (or part thereof).
We are happy to host your celebration at our venue.
For weddings, family celebrations, or corporate events, our various event spaces offer a special atmosphere and comprehensive service. You can choose the location for your event yourself—whether in our large Reinach hall with space for up to 280 guests, one of our restaurants, or other event areas. Our events office will be happy to advise you, including on drinks, food, and additional services.
Our suites, junior suites, and single rooms facing the courtyard must be booked for events extending beyond 11:00 PM. This includes a total of six rooms, which form part of the contractual agreement.
For celebrations at our venue, we offer suitable packages. These include aperitifs, drinks, and—depending on your preference—either a menu or BBQ.
We also offer additional enhancements such as printed menus, a gin & vodka bar, and other beverages from our Gessler Collection to make your event a success.

If you wish to bring your own drinks, this must be agreed with us in advance. A corkage fee will be charged per bottle depending on the type of beverage.
If your event continues past midnight, additional staffing costs will be charged at €49.00 per hour (or part thereof) per staff member starting from 00:00. This also applies to dismantling after guests have left.
Menus can be printed on request for €4.00 per piece. You are also welcome to design your own. We recommend one menu per four guests.
Please limit bass levels, and reduce sound levels after 11:00 PM.
After 11:00 PM, when courtyard doors are open, noise must not disturb other hotel guests’ rest.
Our rooms are well ventilated and partially air-conditioned. We are happy to provide a projector with screen or a display for presentations.
